Isometricon is an AI tool that turns a short prompt or a photo into a 3D icon. I lead product and engineering as CTO, from the first frames in Figma to the live release.

The problem

Designers use 3D icons on landing pages and in product UI. Most AI image tools give you one good icon. The next one has a different light, angle and material, so the set does not match.

I wanted the tenth icon to look like it came from the same artist as the first.

Lock the style first

Before we added features, we fixed the look. Every icon uses one base style for light, camera and material. People pick a style, not a prompt recipe.

The prompt field stays simple. You describe the object, and the style does the rest.

From a photo, too

Many people wanted icons of their team or their product. Image-to-icon turns a photo into the same 3D style, so a portrait sits next to a plant in one set.

Build the set in view

A set grows one icon at a time. The generate screen keeps every result in a history panel, so you always see the set while you build it.
